Throughout the year, we host online small group conversations with the book God & Money. This cohort meets for one hour every week over the course of four weeks.
Connect with like-minded believers, gain an understanding of biblical giving, and discern practical next steps to align your heart (and wallets) to your faith journey.
Participants will receive a printed copy or e-Book of God & Money by Gregory Baumer and John Cortines.

The JOG retreat has beckoned many onto the journey of living more generously–but some are left wanting even more!
We’ve heard the desire for:
-a space to process fears and joys that came up during the retreat
-opportunities to connect with others actively wrestling through financial questions with the Lord
-more accountability in giving on the journey.
…and we’ve heard a desire for continued joy along the way!
JOG Alumni Companionship Cohort
What to Expect
Last October, we hosted our first-ever JOG Alumni Companionship Cohort–a no-strings-attached, safe, facilitated, community companionship journey for those actively desiring to continue the journey sparked by the JOG retreat.
The cohort ran over the course of six weeks and consisted of prayer prompts, examen questions, and three bi-weekly facilitated 90-minute small group sessions.
Our Hope
Our values at GBA are prayer, gratitude, joy, community, collaboration, and action. This series aims to deepen our capacities for all of these–expanding awareness of what the Lord has already begun in our hearts.
In a small group, this series makes space for a more authentic, honest relationship with the Lord and one another with regard to our relationship with money. With the help of Elizabeth Jones, a spiritual director and the co-founder of Iona House, to guide our journey.
Our hope is that we all experience an ever easier and more joyful “yes” to the Lord’s next invitation into a more generous life!
