We launched This Generous Moment campaign to spark more radical, faith-fueled generosity in the Bay Area and beyond.
Started in 2020 as a response to the pandemic, we invited the Bay Area community to nominate their favorite nonprofits for $100,000+ grant. Over 100 people responded, sharing about incredible organizations reaching deep needs in the Bay Area and beyond.

In fall of 2023, 200+ people came together, from Oakland to San Jose, in living rooms, offices, and co-working spaces, to hear about causes that our GBA community cares about.
We were blown away by the 30+ incredible organizations nominated as part of This Generous Moment 2023 and the work they are doing to alleviate poverty, fight for justice, and care for the vulnerable.
$430,000+ was pledged by our community and we are happy to announce the recipients of $100,000 in matching grants!
